Have you ever wanted something so badly that there's no way your finances could have gotten it for you?

That was so much coveted, but that was so expensive.

I can't recall how many times those numbers I see on the price tags made my heart skip a beat, cringe and hesitate, or stop dead in my tracks to wonder if it is worth it.

But suddenly it came to my realisation, I'm actually the most expensive thing on earth. A man actually had to pay with his life to save mine.

The rich, poor, old, young, healthy, sickly, wise, foolish, kind, unkind, believing, unbelieving. He bore all sins once and for all so that I can be renewed, restored and enjoy after-life's eternity.

God knew, the price of sin can't be paid by making a sinful man die for another sinful man. If sin led to the price of death, not one in the world could have escaped the fate of eternal death. So He knew, the only way to overcome sin is that a sinless man die for a sinful mankind. The one and only sinless man, his son Jesus, came for me.

"And when the sixth hour had come, there was darkness ove the whold land until the ninth hour..and Jesus uttered a loud cry, and breathed His last. And the curtain of the Temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. And when the centurion, who stood facing Him, saw that He thus breathed His last, he said, "Truly this man was the son of God!"

How much love He must have had to be willing to die for me. So I worship Him for His greatness, His goodness, His faithfulness. The greatest, sweetest love of all time.

You are not cheap. You cost a man's life.
